October Is the New June Reports The Knot: Tips on How to Infuse Fall & Winter Into Wedding Fashion, Food, Decor, & Favors

TIP 1: THE DRESS
a plush fur stole or wrap (small, one can even say tiny outrage, certainly not spraypaint worthy!)
TIP 2: THE INVITATIONS
simply tie tiny stems of wheat or raffia around the card (try this at home, it is a similar experience to tying tiny bunches of baby asparagus bundles with steamed chives (Martha Stewart!), leave yourself at least a half hour a card)
TIP 3: THE FLOWERS & DECOR
tiny pumpkins for fall, sugar cookies for winter
TIP 4: THE CUISINE
a reinvention of chicken pot pies using puffed pastry and duck (doesn't that just sound like duck in puff pastry, which is nothing like chicken pot pies? but they are tiny!)
TIP 5: THE FAVORS
tiny baskets of apples or vellum boxes filled with chocolate leaves
