FULL-BODIED FLAVORS AND JEWEL TONES

TOO MUCH MONEY FLOATING AROUND?

Out of (where else?) LOS ANGELES

HEADLINE: Modern Spirits Launches Haute Custom Vodkas

Eds. Note: These haute creations that won't fail to impress those of the conspicuous consumption set (aren't there already very fine vodkas out there?) but will unfortunately still leave a lingering, strangely sweet hot-house potato/rose scent on the skin of those who overimbibe. Anti-vodka editoralizing aside, we admired the brevity of this release.

"Flavor is one of the most personal expressions of taste we can share," says Melkon Khosrovian, co-owner of Modern Spirits and Haute creator. "In an industry dominated by mass-produced spirits, Haute provides the first opportunity for individuals to define what they drink and how they entertain."
The spirits makers lead clients through a five-step process to produce each custom creation, starting with a flavor profile that identifies their passions, personalities and palates. The process can take anywhere from two months on up to create a perfectly matched flavored vodka.

Due to the hand crafted nature of the final product, Haute will only accept 25 clients a year. Minimum orders begin at $15,000 for 10 cases.

A NEW BEGINNING

Eds. Note: We were going to show a glimpse of the product offerings for the extra large offered by supersizeworld.com, but decided that one no-bend extra long handled toenail clipper is much like another. Ditto for the "big john." Instead, we bring you riveting post chapter 11 plans.

Out of LOS ANGELES

Robeworks, a Vencor subsidiary, has announced today post chapter 11 plans.

Our plan is to revamp the company's financial structure. The Vencor and Robeworks team are committed to achieving these goals.

Filing Chapter 11 should not be looked at as the end but looked at as a new beginning. Just as in past history we have witnessed great companies such as Chrysler Corp., K-Mart, Interstate Bakeries Co. and Krispy Kreme file for chapter 11 and emerge successfully.
